Connect With Your Breath: A Self-Care Workshop for Moms
Time & Location
About the Event
Moving through the experiences of expecting a child to raising children is often linked with societal pressures and personal expectations. But what happens when some or all of those expectations do not match your lived experience?
We are excited to collaborate with the JFCS on this series of free Mom Group events.
Breath provides an incredible opportunity to connect each person more deeply with themselves, each other, and the collective vision of peace. Transformational Breathwork practice facilitates the inteegration and transformation of negative beliefs into feelings of self-love, acceptance and joy. Join, us, JFCS and Spirit Medicine to experience this practice and learn tips on how you can "Connect with Your Breath" more deeply in our daily life.
NO EXPERIENCE is needed to participate. Come with an open heart and mind and experience the POWER OF BREATH.
A webinar link will be emailed to you after registration.
About the Facilitator:
Aubrey identifies as a queer woman of color who believes in the natural healing power of the self through breath, movement and connection to spirit. She feels that at the heart of practice is the art of acceptance, stillness and surrender. Her own challenges with anxiety and depression prompted her to look further at the mind and how its influence affects our state of being in the world; epsecially in communities of marginalized people. Her practice, Spirit Medicine, provides alternative holistic wellness sergices such as Transformational breath, integration coaching and movement. Offering a complete system for natural self-care, her guiding intention is to love and support people on theri journey towards self discovery.
