Our Team
David is responsible for driving EmmaWell’s strategy, commercial activities, operations, and product development.
Previously, David was Chief Revenue Officer at HeavyWater, an Artificial Intelligence Financial Technology startup, a VC focused on Series Seed and A financings at Safeguard, and a
strategy consultant at McKinsey.
David received his BA from Yale and MBA from Wharton.
Dad of 2 daughters, who provided the inspiration for EmmaWell's name, and a Bichon mix. Practically all of the adult females in
David's life are OB-GYNs, which piqued his interest in maternal health!
Viraj helped to develop and curate the EmmaWell digital program. As a women's health professional, Viraj has an extensive background in pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood.
Viraj is a board-certified women's health PA with over 20 years of experience and has a certification in Maternal Mental Health. Previously at Hatch Motherhood, she was the Education Director and provided maternal health consultations.
Viraj received her BS from Michigan and MS from Rosalind Franklin.
Mom of 2 college students. In addition to tennis, yoga, and travel, Viraj loves to sing and comes from a very talented and musical family.

Radhi is a practicing OB-GYN physician who brings her passion for improving maternal health outcomes to EmmaWell.
With over 20 years of experience, Radhi is Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Paoli Hospital and the lead physician in her group practice which is part of Axia Women's Health. In 2016, she founded Hatch Motherhood, a maternal wellness center that provided support, education, fitness, and community for pregnant & postnatal people.
Radhi received her MD from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and trained at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas.
Mom of a college & high school student, and a Goldendoodle. Always up for a challenge, she completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training.
Having supported new moms and their babies throughout Philadelphia and the Main Line for over 25 years, Donna brings her wealth of expertise in lactation and maternal health to EmmaWell.
An IBCLC, Donna provides lactation consults in the maternity ward of Paoli Hospital, where she is famously known as “Boob Donna" and recently launched BoobDonna.com, a virtual lactation platform.
Donna creates and teaches courses for the International Doula Institute and speaks at national conferences. She previously worked as a private practice lactation consultant and labor/postpartum doula and is the past Chair of the Main Line Health Lactation Committee.
Donna’s free time is devoted to her family - 2 fabulous kids, one amazing son-in-law, and her supportive husband of over 30 years.
Tim is a healthcare executive with over 30 years of health plan experience, including clinical, behavioral health and healthcare delivery system innovation on behalf of Fortune 500 multi-national and US national companies globally and domestically.
Tim is a national subject matter expert on Behavioral Health Digital/Technology Innovation, Clinical and Commercialization Strategy. He has held executive level postions with Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield Rhode Island most recently was Senior Vice President with Optum Behavioral Health.
He received his BA from Stetson University in Deland, FL, his MSW from the University of Connecticut, and his MBA from the University of Hartford.
Alinne is a clinical psychologist, Professor in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University, and runs the Maternal and Digital Research for Equitable Solutions (MADRES) Lab. Her work is focused on depression prevention, intervention adaptations, and the use of technology to deliver maternal mental health resources.
Dr. Barrera's lab aims to culturally adapt digital tools for three main tasks: to assess psychological and psychosocial needs, to provide evidence-based resources, and to conduct intervention studies using the Mothers and Babies Course.
Alinne is a past Board Member of 2020 Mom. She received her BS from UC Berkeley, her PhD from the University of Colorado, and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at UC San Francisco.
